The product of these two measurements is called the resolution of the image, and it’s an important consideration when you work on an image. For example, if you’re shooting pictures of people outdoors, you probably want the image to have a high resolution, meaning that you want to have as many pixels as you possibly can. If you’re shooting a picture of a building, however, you probably want to have a low resolution. That way you can enlarge the image without losing the detail. If you don’t have room to enlarge an image, you can selectively crop it down to a smaller version of itself.
Photoshop has a number of settings you can experiment with to determine the best resolution. The following describes just a few of them.
Print size
The first setting that you want to experiment with is the size of the picture that you want to print. Your printer needs to have a specific resolution (number of pixels) to print the image, and that number is just what it is. Many printers have a digital camera adapter (see Chapter 9) that enables you to print directly from the camera or printer.
However, if you’re using your computer to print the picture, you don’t want the resolution to be so high that you have to zoom in to see what you’re doing. The best resolution depends on the size of the monitor that you’re using to view the image and the size of the image that you’re printing.

This is not possible. If you want to make OpenDDS work with Alfresco, you need to know where to download the plug-ins (they are part of the Alfresco source code), and set them up on the repo server side (not on the Alfresco server side).

The lens exchange is a brilliant bonus for the M lenses as there is now a nice range of useful close-focussed primes available, all the way up to the 35mm f/1.8 equivalent of the 28 f/1.4 prime.
I think the extended coverage and use of the 15mm optic on the M8 is a very good choice. The weight of the camera means that the 14mm is a fairly stable focal length, but the M8 may be a little too heavy to take up to the heights with a 15mm.
A bonus is the improved viewfinder, which is more than just there for show. It’s a big improvement on the extremely compact one on the M9, and it gives a much more direct view of what the lens is focussing at.
Vignetting
Vignetting is still an issue for the M lenses, with the 15mm lens producing greater levels of it than some others. You really need to be right in the middle of the frame to avoid this.
Cropping of corners is fairly good, although I prefer to crop off the upper left corner to remove reflections from the front element in certain shots. I also like to crop in from the sides to create a more vertical composition (the camera crops top/bottom, and leaves the sides in tact).
The quality of the images is decent, with the 18mm showing some softening at the edges. The 28mm is a little more detailed, and the 35mm has a warmer rendition, but all three perform well.
Depth of field
I love the depth of field. It seems to just get better and better each time I pick up the camera. Depth of field can be good or bad, and is what separates the amateur from the experienced photographer. For example, the long focussed 35mm can get a massive depth of field, which makes it great for landscapes, and allows for high DOF shots without blurring. The 28mm lens however can give us some great shots with DoF, but not as much as the 35mm.

Here we report on two patients with refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who achieved a prolonged second remission with hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). The component described in the article “Surface modification of nano-composite plastic light guides for sol-gel-encapsulated electrophoretic displays”, published in OPTICAL LETTERS (2013), Volume 48, p. 1943-1946 by the authors Jia et al. yields a light-guiding component having a polymeric core and an inorganic skin, which is substantially encapsulated thereon and thus substantially axially confined. Said inorganic skin can be one of a so-called hard inorganic skin layer, which is essentially formed of a white color or a silica layer, for example. The light-guiding component is used as the light output surface of a component of an electrophoretic display cell. In this component, the inorganic skin layer of the light-guiding component is in contact with the printing ink of the pixel electrode of a display cell, the inorganic layer consequently being applied only over the electrodes and the conductive wires, the image layer not being applied thereto.
Other components are known from the prior art in which inorganic layers are applied to a light-guiding component, wherein in contrast to the known light-guiding component described above the inorganic layers are applied there to over the image layer, over the entire light-guiding component, or over the entire region of the light-guiding component and only over the active regions of the display cells of the electrophoretic display cell.
Such components are used in particular in so-called “white on transparent” electrophoretic display cells, wherein color images are realized by reflecting light coming from the back of the light-guiding component with the help of the color pixels.
