Before you start working, click Window>Actions. This window is your starting point.

Step 2: Install a Virtualization Software

There are different virtualization software programs for Windows. We recommend using VirtualBox or VMware.

For this guide we are using VirtualBox.

Download VirtualBox from the link below.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you select the option to install on Windows.

Step 3: Install Windows 10 on VirtualBox

Once the download is finished, select Open (Create a virtual hard drive), then Create new virtual machine.

Once the virtualization software is installed, open it and click the New icon.

You need to download a Windows 10 ISO image. The ISO file should be downloaded as a Windows image, not a Linux or Mac image.

Now download the Windows 10 ISO image. For this guide we are referring to an ISO file with the location set to WindowsServer2016Download.iso.

Once the ISO file is downloaded, open it in VirtualBox, click the Add icon and use the text field to paste in the location of the ISO file, then click OK.

Note that it takes some time before Windows 10 installs successfully in VirtualBox.

Step 4: Install Windows 10 on VirtualBox

Now we are about to install Windows 10 on VirtualBox.

Open VirtualBox and click the New icon.

Now you need to select which installation ISO you just downloaded.

Click the DVD drive and select the folder that you downloaded the Windows 10 ISO file to.

In the lower text area, you can use the + icon to add ISO files.

Click the Add button when the ISO files are displayed.

Now click the Continue button to begin installing Windows 10.

It will take a few minutes before Windows 10 is installed successfully.

Step 5: Install Photoshop Elements

In VirtualBox, double-click on the new virtual machine to launch it.
