A PC build of NCrontab only takes about 3 seconds to run a sample crontab parsing test and a MacOS X build of NCrontab takes about 2 to 3 minutes to run the same test.
It would take 30 minutes or so to run the tests on a PC and about 3.5 hours to run the same tests on a Mac.
So, if you have a Mac, I encourage you to help me test it and provide feedback so that I know what to do to make NCrontab run optimally on the Mac.

A deal with Simon & Schuster will see the screen rights to some Harry Potter novels transferred to Rowling and her publishers as part of a multi-faceted plan that will see the author “distribute her creations for wider profit and cultural impact,” a company spokeswoman said Friday.

The proposed sale will include many of Rowling’s characters as well as her existing world of Hogsmeade, Hogwarts and Diagon Alley, said spokeswoman Veronique Baxter.

Rowling’s initial plan was to sell original stories and novels based on characters like Sirius and the Dursley family and a character known as Mr. Ollivander, who appears in the first Potter book and is a wand-maker who takes over the role from Dumbledore.

Baxter said the plan was developed after the author received offers from seven or eight film or television companies to make a film or TV series based on Harry Potter characters.

Rowling’s plan “was always to do that, but that’s not how she wanted to write and that’s not how she wanted to write alone. She’s looking for other collaborators and other experiences.”

Rowling is tapping into a trend towards original stories and more female characters in her fantasy worlds.
