In both panels, they are just overlapping and/or distracting me. I tried many ways to make them disappear or at least reduce their size. I do not need a specific background image for each panel though.

In vitro evaluation of a new antispasmodic drug, clonidine, in comparison to propranolol, in female rabbit jejunum.
The action of clonidine, a new centrally acting antihypertensive agent, on the spontaneous phasic motor activity of isolated duodenal and jejunal segments of the rabbit and the effect of this agent on the electrically evoked contractions were studied in vitro. Clonidine (10-1000 microM) produced a dose-related inhibition of spontaneous activity which was antagonized by yohimbine (10 microM) and sulpiride (100 microM). Similar experiments showed that clonidine (10-500 microM) significantly reduced electrically evoked contractions. Propranolol (0.03-30 microM), a beta-blocker agent, inhibited the spontaneous activity in a dose-related manner and was more potent than clonidine. Comparative studies showed that the antispasmodic effect of propranolol was more potent than the inhibitory effect of clonidine on electrically stimulated contractions. The results suggest that clonidine inhibits both spontaneous and electrically evoked activity in rabbit intestine. This effect may be due to the alpha-2 adrenergic receptors and that the inhibitory action on electrically stimulated contractions may be due to the central action of this drug.Analysis of thiazotroles from pyridine-2-thiones.
