As a fast, light-hearted action game, Fastest Hands in the WAST is perfect for those who enjoy the objective-orientated story style of games like Cave Story, Pixeljam, and Tale of Tales. In it, players will experience a collection of three unique, stylized takes on the Western genre with varying degrees of difficulty.Each of the three episodes has 20 unique levels, a few secret levels, and bonus segments that can be unlocked.

Fastest Hands in the WASD is a Fast-paced, Action-filled, Objective-Oriented game that takes heavy inspiration from the Wild West genre.Play through three episodes, each with 20 unique levels of bullet hell style challenges, unlock a variety of secret levels to earn more Power-ups and never-before-seen Extra Lives, and bonus segments, all set against a dark-toned, Wild West themed backdrop.This week’s DLC comes from the FASTEST HANDS IN THE WASD games, delivering 3 music tracks to a unique Wild West Game Soundtrack.New Tracks:
Wild West Anthem – As a Wild West theme, the music is reminiscent of Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, with the all-too-familiar style of Western-themed art being used in this soundtrack. However, the tempo of the music is a bit quicker, and the composition is more vocal-driven, bringing it much closer to the soundtracks from Legend of Zelda and TimeSplitters.Tune of the Night – Quick paced, evocative, and almost like a song you might hear in a watering hole, the instrumentation of this track is like a small, finger-picked guitar, overlaid with an electric guitar strum. Red Rocks – If you’re like me, you’re certainly more than familiar with the instrument of the Red Rocks. It’s played in a manner similar to the National Anthem, only with a slight reggae vibe.All Tracks are Available on the Steam Cloud

Anyways, my question is there any way that I could speed up the "select a track" feature which currently takes several seconds to load? Is it the speed of the song, song list, handling of my chosen track?

I think that the first time you start the Game, it takes a bit of time. Loads the Song list and all the hand glyphs, etc. Since the Game has been on Steam for a while now, I imagine that it has had a bit of tweaking in the backend. Is there any reason you think a game would load quickly, but you choose a song, and it takes 15 or 20 seconds to load?

This game is a clicker game that puts you in a Western-themed world where you must get your hands on gold as quickly as you can, without getting caught. Each round you’ll fight against three enemies (represented by three buttons) and you’ll need to shoot gold out of trees with the aim of hitting the enemy gold first. The gold can be found on trees around the map, but the AI knows when you’ve shot an enemy, and it’ll teleport to the tree and then start shooting at you. The faster you click/shoot, the faster you’ll be able to get that gold and the higher your score will be.Your clicker action features elements from titles like Rayman, Spelunky, and others. You’ll have the ability to collect health upgrades, and every two upgrades you’ll get to go to an alternate dimension, where there are different’streets’ of gold with different amounts of enemies and bonuses.There are three difficulty settings:Easy Mode – you won’t have any in-game penalties, but you’ll get only one health upgrade each two rounds.Medium Mode – you’ll have 10% slower movement time, but you’ll have two health upgrades and bonus per two rounds.Hard Mode – you’ll have 15% slower movement time, but you’ll have three health upgrades and bonus per two rounds.

A new game with a newer soundtrack, 100% of the proceeds goes to the charity for the Month of October, with this being the final release in the month, and will include bonus content that will not be available otherwise!

There’s a lot to consider in a game like this – we want the music to fit with the game without clashing with the gameplay. We have to consider things like tempo, instrumentation, music placement, vocal performance, and more. Sometimes I think of music in an artistic sense – how does it make me feel? Does it make me relax, or race through the house to play with my friends?
