    About Steam Squad
    Steam Squad is a tactical shooter with a bit of a stealth element. In the near future, after an unknown catastrophe left millions dead, a new world order rose from the chaos. Early on, two rival corporations – Bangle and Bloodline – rose to power, each with its own reasons for existence. Bangle wanted to save the world through technological advances, while Bloodline sought power and ended up perpetrating the apocalypse. Their war was also a civil war, fought by mercenaries with big guns.
    The player enters the history of these mercenaries, uncovering the truth and fighting through hundreds of war-torn cities and towns. Luckily, the player is being tracked through the world by an AI that is more loyal than the loyalty of any human. All of it will lead to a final battle in the depths of the wilderness with the leading mercenaries of the world – it will be a unique experience like nothing else.

    Steam Squad: Original Soundtrack With License Code

    The Steam Squad Original Soundtrack is a companion piece to Steam Squad. It features more than 30 minutes of original compositions exclusively created for the game.

    In addition to the original soundtrack, the game also features full commentary from Mike Carter (producer), Michael Huebl (lead composer) and Andi Woodall (recording engineer).

    “What’s cool about this is that we can tell the players that, as a studio, we’re really serious about creating unique audio, which is something that we’ve never really done before, and that’s something that you don’t really see in game music,” says Mike Carter, producer at Gearbox. “When you’re doing a big budget game, if you’re making a licensed game like XCOM or Battle for Wesnoth, we always just license our music and nobody cares. You never really hear the difference. So when I first heard the original concept for Steam Squad, it was like, ‘Wow! I’ve never heard anyone trying to do something like this before.’ ”

    Steam Squad: Original Soundtrack is a companion piece to Steam Squad and is produced by audio legend Mike Huebl (X-COM: Terror from the Deep, L.A. Noire, DeathSpank, Black Mesa, and many more), and Gearbox.

    Steam Squad: Original Soundtrack is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $15.99 USD. While supplies last, the game will also be available for free to all Gearbox Software Launch Partners.
