The Kinect for Windows Developer Toolkit is a set of software development kits that enable you to create applications that use the Kinect for Windows sensor.
This release of the toolkit includes the Face Tracking Software Development Kit, which lets you use the face tracking capabilities of the Kinect for Windows sensor to run algorithms to recognize your face or to track your face over time. It also includes the Kinect Studio, which lets you use the tools and components in the Kinect Studio to create applications using the face tracking capabilities.
