Married at first sight UK: Franky brands anonymous letter a 'low blow'
Married at First Sight’s Franky brands the anonymous letter he received at the final dinner party as a ‘low blow’ for saying he and wife Marilyse are a ‘mismatch’ – as she urges him ‘not to take things so negatively.’
In tonight’s episode of the E4 show, personal trainer Marilyse Corrigan, 37, from Yorkshire, and military man Franky, 47, who lives in Dubai, sit in front of the experts to dissect what exactly upset the fitness fanatic about the letter he received from another couple which offered some savage home truths about their relationship.
Reading his letter aloud in yesterday’s heated show, Franky could be heard shouting across the table: ‘Which shallow little b****y b**** wrote this?’ to which Marilyse replied: ‘Thank you so much to whoever wrote this – it’s fine.’
But Franky then chimed in and said to his wife: ‘Maybe when I speak, don’t speak.’

But during tonight’s final commitment ceremony, an expert asks Marilyse what it was like for her to hear some of the comments about Franky’s personality and his way of being in the relationship.
‘I think that was people’s initial first kind of look at Franky when they first met him and that’s what the letter did actually say: “At first, we did feel like you two were mismatched,” explains Marilyse.

Franky adds: ‘Someone saying me and Marilyse are a mismatch – that’s a dig and a bit of a low blow.’
When the expert goes on to say how it seemed to trigger him, Franky continues: ‘Of course I’m going to defend our relationship because Marilyse means a lot to me, so when people are being a bit cheap, you know, so…’
Marilyse responds to her husband: ‘But yeah you need to not take it like that, Franky.
We had this conversation before we even went to the dinner party. Don’t take everything so negatively.’
He responds: ‘I know, that’s why I was having a laugh and cracking jokes,’ to which Marilyse adds: https://jobs-freshers.com/ ‘Yeah, but you’re doing it a little bit now, that’s all.
You don’t need to.’
In a previous episode, Franky referred to Marilyse as his ‘princess’ and said: ‘Coming from a background of 20 years of bad relationships, I’ve never found a princess like I have now.’
He also went on to reveal that he is ‘on the way to love,’ while Marilyse told the girls she’s not ‘quite’ there yet but getting there after her new husband started opening up to her.
